Payment provider Worldpay has launched an extended-trial of a software-only card payment mPOS system that should turn any smartphone into a card terminal. My Business Mobile will allow businesses to download an app and accept face-to-face contactless card transactions on their smartphone without the need for any additional payments hardware. (more…)

Majority of UK retailers now take Apple Pay over £30, giving m-payments the edge over contactless cards
